Rec Plus Soccer

Rec Plus is a step up from our recreational league, offering a more competitive level of play without the full travel commitment. Teams compete against nearby communities within an hour of Wellfield Park in Nappanee. Rec Plus is a Spring-only program which runs from March to May.

Our Rec Plus Program

Our Rec Plus program is a competitive, but still recreational, league for youth soccer players, designed as a step up from our traditional Rec program. It offers a more competitive environment than our basic Rec program while being less demanding than our full Travel program, with rules emphasizing skill development and fair play. Tryouts are not necessary to participate in Rec Plus. Everyone that registers will be placed on a team roster (as long as numbers support). Rec Plus is a Spring-only program which runs from March to May.

NorthWood Soccer Club is part of the North Central Soccer Association (NCSA). The NCSA is comprised of other area Rec Plus communities including Bremen, Culver, Fulton County, LaVille, Triton, Plymouth, Starke County, Walkerton and Argos.

The schedule is comprised of 8-10 league games (half home, half away) with an end of season tournament. Age groups are classified by grade (1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, 7th/8th).

The cost to play is $75 per player, and registration opens in early Winter. The player fee includes the cost of the uniform (shirt and socks).
